Hi. Just bought a 1994 Cadillac SLS. You can cut the A/C on and it blows really cold. Then it cuts off by itself and wont come back on. It comes on when it wants to. What could be wrong?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

!994 Cadillac SLS has 102,000 miles on it. The Air is really cold but it only wants to work when it wants to!! The guy I bought it from says it needs a Blower Motor. I want to know an experts opinion. If there is a cheaper fix it would be great!! Thanks.

I had the same problem with my 2003, and it was the blower motor. If you tap on the mtr and it starts running you need to replace the unit.

Check this first! Pull passengers side door kick back there is a black box with black wires I wiggled the wires and the blower came on. AC and heat. Not sure what this box with ground strap does but wish I found it before replacing motor and blower control module. This is in bad spot passengers kick it whenever getting out
