You need to CALL any dealer before you go to look at a car advertised ANYWHERE! Get the full (FIRST AND LAST) name of the person that you are talking to on the phone and ask them if the car you are looking at is available or if this is a "Bait and switch" car, meaning "teaser" car as you described above. Make sure you tell whomever you speak with that if you get to the lot and the car is not there, you will leave immediately and be mad! This is an old tactic that dealers use and most dealers are smart enough to know that today's savvy internet consumers don't play that garbage anymore. If they do it anyways, report to dealer to the BBB and NIADA (National Independent Automobile Dealers Association) and your local state's dealer association AND TELL EVERYONE YOU KNOW. They won't do it for long!!
