will a tranmission from a 2000 nissan altima work in a 2011 nissan altima?

What model tranny? The short answer is based on computer control required in other words electronic versus mechanical control of the transmission. Transmission mounts other issue! My best estimate No not without a bunch of workarounds and I assume your asking if it is a direct swap no fuss no muss! Call your local salvage yard ask if they have a tranny for your vehicle , then ask what is the range of years of Altimas it covers! Again I would venture to say it wont work!
