When driving my engine shuts off

When driving the engine shuts off and won't restart. The Brake pedal is locked
until I get it jump started. My mechanic tells me the mechanic's are all in good
working order ie: battery, alternator, fuel pump, injectors are ok. Further tells
me its an electrical issue. What is you recommendation

yes, it's an electrical issue, most likely. here's how, the vehicle was already running when it shut down so we already know that the gas was being transferred to the block from the gas pump in the tank. A gas pump doesn't use 12 volts to operate properly and the battery did it's just by getting the starter to work and so forth. try your fuel relay. it's a little black box in your fuse area. The car is more than 5 years old. electronics fail after a while.
