Humming noise on 2011 Altima Coupe

Asked by TheProfessor Apr 02, 2012 at 11:55 AM about the 2011 Nissan Altima Coupe 3.5 SR

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Just purchased a 2011 (CPO) 3.5 SR Altima Coupe.  When I first start driving, and get on it, I hear a humming noise from bottom of car.  Goes away in a few sec.  Then, after that, when I get on it (or I guess after is warms up a little), the noise is gone.  Any thoughts as to what this can be?

It could be your tires making noise until they get warmed up. I had a similar situation on a civic I used to have.
