How ironic.
Today I am making my final car payment after 4
yrs.lol
And the SERVICE ENGINE SOON light came on.
Wow.

I do not here anything or notice anything strange

What could be the triggers for the light to come
on?

That light is NOT a note on your calendar! Your computer has detected an issue somewhere in your vehicle.THIS IS THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT! Not a maintenance reminder such as an oil change. I own a 2011 Nissan Altima Coupe 3.5 SR. My light would come and go for the same code P0101 Mass Air Circuit. My mass air flow sensor was fine, engine filter was clean however there is a TSB for reprogramming of the engine computer to correct the parameters for air flow. Not to say this is the issue you are having but it is common.
