I have a 2002 Jeep Liberty that has about 136,000 miles on it. It has received every required servicing including and oil and filter change every 3600 miles. Right now, between servicings I have to put in 1 to 2 quarts of oil. I have asked my service representative, Jake at York Jeep about it and he says that it is just because it is an older car. I have talked to a couple mechanics, who basically said "that's crap" and that if my car has received all its servicings this should not be happening. Does anyone have any thoughts on this? 4 Answers

I have tried about ten camshaft sensors on a Jeep Libert 2002 3.7engine exactly the same and it has not worked, so I want to know what should we do with the vehicle for it to work again? 3 Answers
The original camshaft sensor has been misplaced that is why we have tried many others but the same type but it still does not start the vehicle.

Why does the transmission fluid have to be changed in a 2006 Jeep Liberty when the owners manual says the transmission fluid installed at the factory is good for the life of the car unless contaminated with water. Normal wear and tear on the transmission will make it dark... so why would the manufaturer write that in the owners manual? 4 Answers
