Can any idiot do this? Is therre a video out there? I did add a bottle of STP fuel system cleaner. Will that take care of the injectors?

Yup that's all you need to do. Follow the instructions on the bottle.

Personally I believe fuel injector cleaner is an expense not needed, especially if gasoline is purchased from a larger station where a lot of gasoline is sold. Change your fuel filter regularly, most do not.

2001 5.4 liter Ford F-150. I have to add a quart of oil about every one to two weeks. There is no oil leaking that I can see on the concrete. It also doesn't smoke. What do you think is going on. I know the oil has to be going somewhere. 23 Answers

I'm having to add oil to my truck every on to two weeks and I don't know where the oil leak could be because I can't see any oil on the ground. The truck doesn't smoke and is running great.

I have a 2000 F150 Extended Cab 4.2L V-6. On the drivers side firewall is a cylinder and out of the bottom are two vacuum lines. One of them comes from the bottom of a black fluid refill reservoir and runs to under the throttle body. It has collapsed and is making the truck run rough. Is that part of the Smog System? It's on the firewall, almost sitting on the top left of the brake booster and in front of the clutch refill reservoir. any ideas what vacuum line that is? Thanks. 2 Answers

When I switch to front tank, the flow stops. When I return to rear tank the flow returns. I have checked the fuse(s), all good there. Is there a plugged line? Where?
