Check the fob for a hidden key or Call the cops or triple A to slim jim the door for you

My 2008 300c battery went stone dead. Had to pull the hidden cut key out of the key fob and gain entrance through drivers side door. The car would not take a jump from under the hood terminals. The battery was beyond dead. Then we gained access to the trunk by crawling through the backseat to the emergency trunk release lever. Replaced battery. All set to go. We did not have to reset the fob or anything. Thanks for reminding me... i have a subwoofer box that was blocking us from crawling through to grab the trunk release lever. It was a b*tch to get past the subwoofer box, but we managed. Now I am going to see if there is a way to tie or hook something on to the lever that i can just lay it down by the backseat, so that extension will be easier to pull and open the trunk, insteadcof crawling through. But i don't know if the pull angle will be right. Just food for thought.
