Put the key in the lock and turn it? It does have a manual lock, doesn't it?
Yes put the key in the driver's side door handle and unlock the door. To get into the trunk fold down rear seat and pull the safety latch in the trunk under the trunk lid. Hopefully there is not a lot of junk in there to get to the safety latch. You can also open the front hood and boost the battery from engine bay. Good luck
elect. lock, no key way will check to see if can go thru. back seat, don't know

where is the safety latch? thought it would have one, dont see one not shown in owners manual either
Why was the building out of the ordinary (despite the large size)?
Does a laptop have to be used to test the battery on a Dodge hemi
People are saying to jump the battery? Really? The battery is in the trunk that you can't unlock because it doesn't use a key! You can also charge via under the hood. Well, if the battery is dead and the car is locked, you can't open the hood! If you could open the car, you could just push the trunk button! DUH!
Thank you GuruMDGT2! My sentiments exactly! We now have the back seat down but have no idea what to look for.

Truth is Mopar engineering is so lousy mopar accepted the "close enough" quality control standard yrs ago. They must of if it's acceptable to Mopar if their customers have to crawl through the rear seat/trunk area and pull a handle to get their groceries & shopping items out instead of a single key hole costing Mopar just a couple bucks. Done it twice, 2nd alt in 125k miles. My Tundra has 350k miles still has original alt/starter both with nothing but maintenance to date on its V8 as the 300 hit the shop time & time again since hit 40k. Alt, radiator, a/c issues a few times, rad fans, water pump (3), tensioner, several sensors, seat motor, fuel pump, windshield leak, drivers mirror glass flaked turned gold, hood/trunk shocks, trim under door fell off. Geewiz! 300m battery inside the fender well making owners remove front wheel & fender well to get battery out should have told me they're junk as 300m was plagued with issues too they never changed during its run. Rediculous! Had any Mopar designer brought original mopar corp these battery placement ideas on paper he'd lost his job that day. Ya old Hemi Dart had bats in trunk but car not for street use though. The designers who made the cooling system without an actual cap on radiators & set high placement of its resivior forcing air to be bled out with cheap allen head plug not a bolt so it strips before loosening. More poor designs! Then theres the ol' embarrassing Hemi tick? How lovely! Mopars finest, top of the line Chrysler 300c really does have it all now don't it? Its one thing for these ideas to hit paper but for Mopar to implement such fabulous ideas for its customers shows how little they care about mopars quality & us. The 300c once again got towed to my home two days ago, I put a cheap reman alt on it and then today I drove the p.o.c. to our nearest Lexus dealership and they own it now. After being a die hard Mopar owner since 1969 with my first GTX I'm finally without a single one! Beginning of rhe end was when my Rams Hemi bit the dust (twice) and the dealership lent me a used Tundra they had around. After driving it I bought a new one soon after! Thanks Mopar, I am very greatful..lol I see why so many folks get a mil miles on the Toys/Lexus, the quality is just unreal. Mopar died yrs ago, I just refused to visit their grave, far too painful for my ol' heart. Goodbye old friend where ever you went! You once were a true Winner all through 60/70's though few even remember all those wins!
I need help getting in trunk on town and country sto and go just put new batter in car and in Fob. Still can not open. Help
I just had that problem. There is a little box on left side of trunk door . Have to pull lid off then flip latch and it will release your trunk. Had a mechanic do it for me at no charge. There is a picture in your guide book so you can recognize it
