I was driving down the interstate in my 2011 Chev. Silverado, going down and underpass when the engine died for about 10 seconds and then started up again. The volt meter went from the normal 15 down to about 10 but it drove fine the last 70 miles home. The last two times I have driven it, it is normal. Has me baffled as to what might have happened. battery cables are secure.

I have a 2004 Chevy Silverado extended cab, 4.8 liter. I have had multiple issues with this vehicle, but the one I can't seem to solve is this: if I leave the truck sitting for a day, when I get in and start driving, about 5 miles down the road, it acts like it is being starved of fuel. The engine light starts blinking and there is no power even when i step on the gas fully. After a minute or two, it goes away and runs fine unless I let it sit for a couple days. I just replaced my fuel lines because they were rusted out but that didn't solve the problem. Any ideas anyone? 6 Answers

I have a 93 Chevy Silverado. Recently had an issue with the "check gages" light coming on. So I got a new sensor and new O ring on the filter. "Check gages" light went away but then now when I'm driving about 10-15 min. the oil pressure starts falling slowly, and when I brake to stop goes all the way down to zero but as soon as I hit the gas the pressure goes up to the middle.
