Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hello so my car started over heating so I
parked it for a bit till it cooled down but then
went to drive it home an it started to over heat
again, not in the red though,  an the car started
to sputter like it was out of gas but I had just
filled it up , so I tried peddling it  an put it into
neutral an the car died, no idea why but it
hasn't started since. Then few days later my
dog got tangled in the wiring underneath the
steering wheel  an pulled a few wires an now
I'm. Not sure where this one goes? It's a
greenish gray adapter

I had the same overheating problem with my 2005 crysler 300. after a shop charged my big bucks for thermostat replacement, water pump replacement

And new timming chain. It still overheated, when i got it home I realized i may of blown my head gasket .i was pist when i finally fivured out that for $100.00 i only had to replace the over flow tank. And it will still overheat if you do not put the cap on it properly. Your crysler 300 has a sealed cooling system so if there is the slightest leak or cap is not on right you got problems. Good luck.
