2011 Toyita corolla won't start after battery charge

Disconnected battery for slow charge, after reconnecting  engine swings nicely but won't fire. Slight singing/buzzing type noise can be heard in engine compartment.

Answering my own question as a matter of interest for readers. I disconnected the battery again, waited 3 minutes and reconnected and the car started. I can only think that the engine management ECU's did not boot up properly the first time. Any comments on this would be appreciated.
