The measurement of the high pressure in the AC, gives me lower

Asked by pidiendoenUSA Aug 15, 2021 at 02:11 PM about the 2011 Kia Forte SX

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hello, the room temperature is 26 degrees.
The manometer and a half the following measures:

Low pressure: 29 psi
High pressure: 115psi

I have read that the normal pressures are: low pressure: 25 - 40psi, and high
pressure: 150 - 200psi.

My AC does not work, it only draws hot air, and the high pressure
measurement is wrong, what could it be?

Looks like there is moisture in the system. So procedure is to evac for at least 30 minutes and recharge to proper level.
