I disconnected the alternator from my 2011 Dodge Grand Caravan to replace it. I can't see a convenient way to get it out of the compartment.
Taking the alternator off was a snap. Getting it out of the compartment seems to be my
roadblock.

Never mind. Remove the windshield washer reservoir and it can be shimmied out the top.
Thanks vagasrookie. Pain in the butt. Yes it will come from the top. Without disconnecting A/C
