2007 Ford Taurus coolant leak.
I have a 2007 Ford Taurus that leaks antifreeze
pretty bad. Started off as a slow leak and never
overheated so I let my dad and fiance drive it until
hunting season ended as long as they kept water in
it so it wouldn't over heat(bad idea I know) anyway
I can see it on the ground after im parked for just a
little while and my oil looks fine so I don't think it's
my head gasket but the leak got so bad it doesn't
hold water barely at all and when you open the
hood it has to be dripping on the serpentine belt
because it literally sprays up in your face. I parked
it and havnt been driving it (also because in kinda
snowed in anyhow) but I need to know if anyone
has any idea what's wrong or where I should look
for the leak if that's the case? I live in a tiny town
up in the mountains and I don't trust the mechanic
shops here cuz they are dumb as hell...I just need
an idea so I know how much money to have got
parts and ECT. So when the snow is gone I can
drive again... And im not sure if it's an Se or SEL
does it make a difference?
