It it a two position switch an up and down? If so pull the switch and see if you have power to that end of the switch when you push it, you will need a multimeter...

Out of hydraulic fluid in the tops pump. Behind Back seat, fill it back up and your good to go. The leak is at where the hoses go into the cylinders usually, 1 on each side. Push the switch after it's full and watch, you'll see where the leak is, no problem! good luck!
