Might be a combined switch with both. Happened on both my 2000 Vettes and just punching the emergency flasher switch two dozen time on and off made them both start working again. I NEVER use my emergency flashers so they get corroded over time. If you get no indicator light dash at all you might be looking at replacing that switch. ALLWAYS Check all your fuses first.
