Can I really not list my vehicle for sale on the Canadian site?

I've checked the questions area and compared the US site with the Canada site
and the "sell my car" option is not showing on the Canadian site. Does
Cargurus really not allow private sellers to sell their own cars in Canada? How
does that work?

You are correct, Cargurus does not allow owners in CA to list a vehicle.
Has there been any indication as to why? They obviously support private sellers on their US site, why should it be any different for the Canadian site? Is there some sort of legal issue that would prevent this?
This must be a legal issue with the Canadian government. Sucks to be a Canuck!
It's strange because there are other car sites available in Canada that allow private sellers to list their vehicles. I just find Cargurus to be one of the better ones solely because of the search criteria offered. I would love to hear from Cargurus themselves about what the issues involved are exactly.
I doubt they would tell you but you can try to ask them using the Contact Us link.

I would like Car Gurus to explain why Canadians can buy cars but not sell, other sites do why lose business to them?
