VW CC 2012

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Bought my CC in Miami two years ago and
had a few issues which I’m sure the dealer
knew about but never mentioned.
However, the latest issue is the car slips
when in D. Meaning I’ll drive and after a few
minutes, pressing gas does nothing but rev
the engine. I’ll have to shut down the car and
it’ll be back to normal for a couple minutes.
However, if I drive in S, it’s fine with no
issues. What could be the issue?

Most likely an electronic accelerator control module problem. Same thing happened with a Mercedes I had. Not something I would want to invest the time in fixing myself. Best of luck
