Is it expensive to own a 2010 & 2012 VW CC?

When you compare it to it's competition, I think it comes out ahead. Audi A4, BMW 3 series, any of the entry level JDM luxury sport sedans will all be pricier to buy and maintain. The 2.0T is powerful yet frugal and remarkably tune-able. I have two friends who work at my local VW dealership...the both drive R-Line CCs. No-brainer if you're looking for a sporty sedan with nice comfort features.
I believe he is referring to repairs. All cars up to 10 years old will be about the same to maintain due to how new they are anything under that is relatively cheaper due to them not really making many parts for them any more. But if you are going with any year based model of the vw's go with a 2012 model VW they have better fuel efficiency and less issues. Tho one of the latest issues i have had with my 2.5L engine in my jetta is in very cold wheather the cars start to have issues. anything below -20c and they start to act up especially if all you do is make alot of short trips under 10kms per startup. found out the hard way that vw engines in the cold don't get the engine oil hot enough to burn off any moisture in the engine and it freezes and causes havoc with the oil pressure system. The cure is an oil change and them droping the oil pan to get out the ice that settles in the bottom of the pan.
