just purchased a used 2004 sebring convertible 2,7 limited was running fine approx 200 miles third morning started car let idle in drive car stalled and now wont start does turn over

Sound,s like your security system may be playing head game,s with you,undo positive cable for about 5 minutes,then hook back up,if problem stay,s you may need to go have it checked.

Is the battery completely dead...do you have lights, etc.? Begin by checking battery terminal connections...if one or both are growing corrosion, green/white crap. clean that. If they are OK, seems it needs an OBD scan to at least help point you in the right direction. OBD scans are not a panacea of troubleshooting, but are valuable tools.
