The problem I'm having with my car is my motor is not switching over to the hybrid so it's seeming as the car slows down while driving. What is this

If the car doesn't enter EV mode might be due to various things. Are there are any codes? If not, it might be because of a faulty compressor. Check to see if there is cold air blowing. If not, see how you can get the a/c system repaired.

That is what exactly was wrong with mine a few months ago. But it's doing a similar thing again while the AC works. Last time it wouldn't use its battery assist at all this time it's using the assist and charging it's just not shutting the engine off similar to if you had the AC on max
