Low mileage 2004 330ci

Asked by RDS777 Aug 21, 2016 at 01:43 AM about the 2004 BMW 3 Series 330Ci Convertible RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2004 340ci convertible with 50k miles.
What type of maintenance and service should I be
concerned about at 12-13 years old with low
mileage. Also the transmission slips in 1st gear
when it is cold at first start of the day and I have go
to manual shift for first gear. Dealer said this was a
known issue in this car. Serviced transmission and
it's gotten much better. Does anyone know anything
about this? Thanks.
