07 Ford Explorer randomly dies while driving
Asked by Guru1CLXW Sep 05, 2019 at 09:42 AM about the 2007 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer V8 4WD
Question type: Maintenance & Repair
My vehicle randomly loses all power. The oil, check
engine, and battery lights come up but when I turn
the vehicle off and back on again the vehicle will
drive perfectly. All the lights will go away, and it's
like nothing happened. I did replace the relay for
the fuel pump, as I have heard this could be the
issue..

scan for codes , maybe the ECM is going bad
Will there be codes if I do not have a check engine light visible? When the car dies the light is visible, but after I turn it off and back on all lights turn off.
Positive wire has to be traced to the back of the engine Some where it crosses the air condition line. Coating worn off causes a short
