Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Ok I just fixed my coolant bleeder
housing.. I didn't pull the intake all
the way off I just got it up enough to
get that last bolt.. Now after puttin it
back together, as I'm trying to bleed
the system I turn the heater on all the
way.. And when I do it idles up to 2
grand and my speedometer reads
around 20 mph even tho it's sitting
still.. And also will green 50/50
antifreeze hurt the cars seals?

Sound,s to me like you need to check, for vacume hose leaks, and or wire,s lose, where you done your work, and no 50 /50 antifreezewant hurt the seals.Recheck your work.

Ok I was wondering if maybe the intake didn't seat good anyways so ill recheck it after the rain quits and update ya

How far does the aftermarket temp sensor go into the housing itself? It only covered half the thread tape that come on it and its showing more threads than the one I took off.. But I'm scared to tighten it anymore cuz it's pretty snug and I don't wanna break anything..

If it dose,nt leak leave it alone, you are right don,t wont to break it,it will still work as is.

Did I need gasket maker under the coolant bleeder housing?

Checked my intake and it's all good.. Still idling high when I turn the heat on.. My speedometer also is reading almost 20 mph while its idling.. There is also a new whine to the motor that wasn't there before
