Due to the high pressures and high temps created by the Air conditioning System, the fan will come on whenever the AC is turned on - otherwise it will build pressure above the safe threshold and pop-off the safety valve. The electric fan won't come on until it's needed. Your temp indicator should read 1/2 to 2/3 toward hot when it finally does come on. Most cars do not need a fan while driving at speeds above 30 MPH because of the velocity of the air coming through the radiator. A simple test: Watching the temp indicator, run the engine at 2500rpm for about 5 minutes - the fan should come on, cool the motor and turn back off.

use your head...find the connector to the one pipe sticking out near the intake manifold...there can only be so many wires leading to this dingus~ take a photo of your engine, will mark it up with circles and arrows...this won't get away from us now~ You are a computer....you need to know how hot the motor is....have to gather that info....it's probably right in front of you covered up with some or other silly hose~....follow the wire(s)~
