Coolant leak under timing cover

Asked by T_will92 Jun 13, 2016 at 02:53 AM about the 2003 Chrysler 300M FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Only leaks when engine is hot and stop when
cooled down water pump good and hold pressure
and I bleed it as best I can when I add coolant
when it runs hot... maybe water pump seal got to
hot at one point idk I hate to take it apart and it be
fine

It doesn't leak for no reason, If its never been changed? how many miles on it 100,000 Change it. Once, it fully FAILS... it will cook the engine very fast (head gaskets) unless you shut down even faster.

My Chrysler 300 was leaking coolant very badly and it ended up being my oil filter housing check around your oil filter for coolant
