NO problem with my 2010 yet, or my brothers. But we are located in an area of the country, deep south, where there is very little need for heat so it stays on "cold" almost always. Is it the door which is giving trouble or the actuator motor? The motors are made with plastic gears. If two snap off next to each other the door usually gets study in whatever position it stops at.

OJ, he is saying blend door motor. You have to remove the whole dash to get to it. I wish mine was stuck on air lol. I'm down here in Mobile, al

I know some model F-150's have actuator motor accessible through the glove box, but not sure which. I jury rigged my son's explorer with the same problem so it can be manually moved to "heat" via a heavy gauge plastic wire tie I fished through the dash once the engine starts. I live in New Orleans and bought my 2010 new. It's been on "cold" since the day I purchase it and it is not coming off of it, ever. It seldom gets lower than 40 down here. I can give you an idea on how to jury rig your's during winter, just let me know. It may get a little cooler in Mobile.
