Are you talking about ect (engine coolant temp) sensor?

Yes. Now it will crank over but won't start and its getting fuel

If your 100% sure it is getting fuel I would check all the fuses especially the ones related to ignition. If you have ever had a problem with rodents I would take a close look under the hood and under the dash. There are many causes for ignition problems, crank position sensor, cam position sensor, pcm, ecm and a bad connection on any of these systems. You might want to see if you can come up with some error code or codes. That might give you a place to start.

I took it to advanced auto and auto zone and both of their readers said it was the ect sensor. So I put one in and it didn't work so I took it back and the next snapped in half on install and with the 3rd one in it still won't start and it ran fine before we had the code read and started this project

What was the original problem? I don't think your temp sensor is causing a no start condition. See if leaving the ect disconnected makes a difference on the starting issue. This might bring up another codes to steer you in the right direction. I think the ect is incidental to another underlying problem.

The check engine light was on so I had it read it came up as bad ect sensor so I took the intake off replaced it and put it back together with all new gaskets
