My 2007 dodge quad cab 5.7 hemi. Uses about two quarts or so (maybe more at times) every oil change. I have no leaks and it does not smoke. This has drove me nuts in the past. I am almost positive that it's burning it but just not sure. The fact is it's got to be going somewhere. Other than this the truck operates great. I have come to except the fact that it uses oil and keep a check on it. I know this is not the answer you were looking for.

you are both using way too much oil. the 5.9 is burning it. they do that, the 5.2 does it too. that hemi is too new to be using that much oil. my 2008 hemi has 115,000 miles on it and uses less than a quart between oil changes. you need to find another mechanic.
