2002 Dodge Durango slt 4.7. V8. Brake lights are out except center rear window light. If I hook up a trailer all the lights work. As soon as I disconnect, brake lights go out again. Any thoughts? 5 Answers

I have a '98 Dodge Durango that sounds like it is running out of gas. It spits and sputters and dies. Pushing in the gas pedal to rev the engine does not help. Durango eventually dies. I have a 2004 Dodge Durango. While driving, I lost all power to the wheels, yet all electrical and engine seemed to be operating. Pulled over, and it would not move , regardless of what gear I put it in ( N, R, D, 1, 2 ) My first guess is the transmission went out, but could there be a sensor or other cause for this. When I accelerate, I hear the engine, but still have no movement in any gear. 8 Answers
