Steering column replaced but security system won’t allow cat to start

Asked by Guru67KD1 Apr 07, 2020 at 12:09 PM about the 2002 Chrysler Sebring LXi Sedan FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I replaced a damaged steering column due to
breaking and the key will not disable the security
system. I am guessing there is a sensor that needs
to be replaced and or reprogrammed what is the
name of the sensor and where can I purchase it?

You now need to be towed to your local Chrysler Dealer for repairs and reprogramming. Hope that helps! Jim
