Hello, I have a 2009 Subaru Forester 2.5 X Limited, and it has a blown head gasket. The ~$3,000.00 price tag on the repair is a no go for me, so I'm considering just doing a full motor swap. Anybody know which engines I can throw in this car?

Get another quote. Three grand is much too high.

I have gotten about 5 quotes now, the lowest being 2500, mid range being 2800, and the highest being 3000.
