2011 Kia Sorento starting

I turn the key and dash lights comes, but no start
and after 6-8 tries and finally starts. Any ideas what
the problem could be

Does the engine turn during those tries? If your engine's not turning, check your starter and starter solenoid. If it's turning, more likely your fuel pump
