My 2001 300m overheated today and had 1 brown milky substance coming out of coolant reservoir

You may have oil in the coolant. Is the oil milky? Could be a blown head gasket from overheating which is a serious repair. Some engines can leak oil around the water pump seals, but I don't think this engine design does that. Coolant in the oil will damage engine bearings and destroy the engine if left any time at all.
