2003 Lincoln town car wont shift throught the gears when driving top speed is 35 mph got all the sensor codes whats wrong changed the sensors fluid and filter cleared codes but when started codes came back still wont shift . why ?

4r70w tranny driving one day came to a stop  when I  stepped on gas tranny actted up o/d flashed on dash  checked codes  got all sensors code so  changed them and filter & fluid codes still there and car doesn't shift

I had the same problem. It is a transmission problem, but don't get all worked up like I did about potential repair costs. The transmission just needs to be flushed and the filter replaced. My cost was only $225. It now runs and shits better then it ever did. No more shaking when shifting, car runs solid. I am fortunate in that my mechanic recommended a honest transmission guy.
