When fixing the turbo line in a Kia Sportage Sx turbo, how possible is it that the water pump and radiator start to leak (2011)

Asked by GuruYK9Z1 Mar 19, 2018 at 07:55 AM about the 2011 Kia Sportage SX

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I had a recall on this vehicle and they fixed it, but
when transpthe car to me, they took the car back to
the shop and didn’t tell us the reason for taking it
back until the next day.... mind you were waiting on
the car, all of a sudden they want us to get a rental,
so we did and the next day the called my husband
to tell him the water pump and raidiator was leaking
because the car ran hot! My question is wouldn’t
you know the car would run hot if you just fixed the
turbo line and why would you wait a whole day to
tell us what was wrong with the car?? Please help, I
feel like they’re getting over on us and want us to
pay $1000 for this!!!

This may be a gimmick to get your money. In any case, I would go to the Service Manager and bring your concerns to him/her. Ask just what your asking here and request proof that the parts are/were bad.
