where is the heater fan located in a 2000 Chrsyler Sebring JXI

Asked by GuruTGSN8 Jul 28, 2018 at 07:06 PM about the 2000 Chrysler Sebring JXi Convertible FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Something (a mouse?) seems to have gotten inside the fan and built a nest as when I turned it on today, pieces of stuff came flying out the vents in the dashboard and shortly thereafter the fan abruptly stopped and it wouldn't restart.  Thinking pieces of the "nest" have lodged in the blades and I will need to locate the fan and either try to clean it out or replace.  Need to know where it is located and best way to get at it.
