Question type: Maintenance & Repair
My check engine light and Traction stability light would remain on while driving. I hooked up a diagnostic tool and got a P0344 code and replaced the camshaft position sensor. However the engine light and TSS light stay on. any suggestions

I been having the same issue with my 2011. Has your truck been burning through oil? Cause I notice mine has. And even tho I replace the camshaft sensor and the crankshaft sensor I still keep getting the p0344. It usually comes on when my oil is low.
Hello! I got a solution for the fuel sensor fail and the gauge going to empty... I have a 2017 Ram 5.7L, encountered the same problem few weeks back. I bought a bottle of motor medic, fuel system booster. I put 500ml straight to my tank then filled my Tank with fuel. After few kilometers, check engine light is off, everything is back to normal. I hope it works for you as well... Please pass it through others If it does

Did you ever found out what it was ? I'm having the exact same problems with mine
Yes the problem is the fuel pump sensor inside the tank! Only problem, you can't buy it separately. U need to buy the whole pump. And be careful on the quality of fuel (water, dirt, etc...)! Since I bought my new pump till now, working perfectly. I keep my bottle of fuel cleaner every 2 refill just to be safe
My trucks engine light came on, stability traction light and I lost engine power driving down the interstate I pulled over raved up the engine drove another 3 miles it did it again. I went to AutoZone and ran a code tester on it, they said I needed a cam shaft sensor replaced it cost $15.00 but Monday I have to take it to the dealership to have them install it hoping they can get this installed quickly
My 2010 Dodge Ram has been burning oil and I keep getting the check engine light and traction control. Also I get error code that says Camshaft position sensor A. I replaced the sensor. Anyone have any answers?
I had the same issue on my 09 ram 1500. I replaced both crankshaft sensor and camshaft sensors from Oreilly, cleared the codes and it started right up, ran about 20 mins then I sat idling and went to shift from park and it died on me. Next I bought both crankshaft and camshaft sensors from Dodge and again it would run for about 20 mins, drove around 8 blocks and back home then sat idling and went to shift from park it died and would not start back up.

stability traction light comes on my truck gears down 48 miles per hour 2015 dodge ram 1500 v 6
Hey y’all. I’ve been having this same issue with my 2012 ram 1500 5.7 hemi. I know this topic has stumped many folks but I believe I have a solution. I was told by a service tech at a dodge dealership that when they wrote the specs for the engine they didn’t allow enough oil to properly lubricate the roller bearings. His solution to me was to get a fresh oil change and camshaft position sensor and to pour a whole quart of Lucas oil stabilizer on top of the fresh oil change. I have noticed increased performance from how it was running while the CEL and TSS lights were on. Lights have not returned since. I have driven it probably 1,000 since doing so.
