The cost to upgrade to a faster car is not worth it, just pay it off and buy something faster.

But the thing is it's gonna take me a while to pay it off because I just bought it a couple months ago and I don't want to wait 3-4 years to pay it off just to get a better car, all my friends have these turbo charged St's and mustangs and speed3's and when we go for cruzes downtown I can never keep up to them and it's embarrassing !

read this:: http://www.cargurus.com/Cars/Discussion- t26472_ds657462 :: and unless you are friends with buddies who are major gearheads who have tons of parts laying around (that you might score some deals and free help) then you're looking to pay a decent amount up to retail/high prices for the modifications you desire. Also be aware that if you want to trade in now, you'll have negative equity. You might get lucky to post your car looking for someone to take over payments but idk how that works, per say. But again.. pure luck IMO. Is your financing done through the dealership? Could you go to a local credit union and get a better rate and pay it off quicker?

in the meantime while you save for a new car just do as much weight reduction as you can on your 2.5i take the back seats out, the spear tire bay, carpeting all the unnecessary weight that’s what i did and i noticed a difference.
