Was wondering if it is a good idea to supercharge a
2008 subaru impreza 2.5i premium package. It is
hatchback and i was wondering if it could be
supercharged or turboed. If not what modifications
would be good for it?

Subaru's are typically turbocharged. You would be best off to buy a STI or WRX.

Absolutely leave it alone! You can play with 17" alloys and a fatter rear swaybar to quicken handling and improve body control, but don't start screwing around with the drivetrain. Even a CAI is a naive waste of money.
Dude don't listen to these two. It's WAAAAY cheaper to super charge you RS than buying a STI.... Plus it's actually badass. I build custom Subarus builds YouTube 2002 WRX b2200 that thing is boosting 23 lbs. I'm about to make a Toyota super mk3 AWD with a WRX gear. If you wanna build it build it bro. The RS can handle supercharged 14 idle lbs boost 25lbs running. But you can't turbo charge the N/A Subaru motors due to piston firing sequence.
