Is the emergency brake on ? Brake light in dash maybe bad and not showing emergency brake maybe engaged.

The brake light is on but emergency brake not pulled we tried pulling it then releasing it nothing changed.. It's like a noise of something dragging under hood we noticed the drive axle boot is broke, wondering if that's the problem or not?

When u drive it u don't have to touch the brake at all and the car just goes then stops and even squeals out and your not even touching brake

Master brake cylinder needs replaced/rebuilt.

If brake light is on only two reasons it would be on low on brake fluid or emergency brake on. Have you done any brake work on the rear brakes ?
enginecreator answered 8 years ago
Release the pressure next time they start applying themselves and see if its squirts out like its under pressure, if so then the only parts that can apply and hold (if failed) pressure is the master. Its happened to me.

Okay still having the issue but when you turn the trac off button off car drives fine if don't push the button you pretty much can't go, all started with replacing driver front rotor and brakes, now have replaced calipers brakes , lines, abs modular, passenger drive shaft and still have the same issue with the traction control it seems... anybody know what this could be?
firebird338 answered 8 years ago
Was the brake light on before doing the front brake job and did you do any work on the rear brakes ?
firebird338 answered 8 years ago
You said you replaced the drivers side brake pads, rotors, caliper and brake line so what side is locking up the drivers side or passenger side ?

The brake light is off was just low fluid from all the work and the noise it makes is the driver side front it's like a bad dragging sound and no power it Boggs down but like I said if u push the trac off button to off in the car it goes fine.. was wondering if the sensor would make it do this only thing that hasn't been replaced on that side

And the master cyclinder hasn't been replaced yet but brakes r fine and didn't have any issues at all until replacing the rotor and brakes

Remove sensor and clean with brake cleaner may just be dirty if still does the same after cleaning replace sensor. Remove and clean both sensors front and passenger side.

Yeah Gona probably replace it tomorrow I'm just uncertain that a sensor would make it do all this? It's like traction control is messed up
My 2002 Toyota solara Sle v6 had new rotors and brake pads but on when driving the calipers not releasing all the way could it be a bad caliper
Spent $1300 and three different attempts for the mechanics to "solve the problem"… The brakes still are locking and wearing down the front pads. The mechanics have given up… There must be a recurring Toyota problem… Doesn't anyone know what to do? We replaced just about everything.
