Question type: Maintenance & Repair
I'm looking to get this vehicle from a used car
lot... i understand the miles are
ridiculously high, but this car has everything I
want! I'm willing to do some preventative
work, but i was hoping you guys could provide
some more insight of any major potential
issues... Thanks in advance!

Fair enough! May i ask why?
Not a very reliable car with high miles. Don't be tempted by the leather upholstery and good looks. These are nice cars new, I have driven them but they don't age well.
Thank you for your time!
Agree with the other guys. It could be a wallet drainer with those miles. They weren't that great when new.

I have a 2010 luxury SRX w/50,000 on it , I’ve had it for 3 1/2 yrs and absolutely love it, it’s in perfect, and I mean perfect condition, I do keep it maintained always. It also has running boards that I added , they are made for my SRX , they look amazing on my car. I haven’t had a single problem with any mechanical issues. I keep it clean and wash it myself and wax and detail it as well, my leather interior is also perfect . The car has never been in an accident and I park it away from other vehicles to avoid those ugly door dings so there aren’t any on my car. I keep new tires on it as needed. It runs like a charm and also gets great gas mileage. What I’m actually trying to say is that if you buy one in great condition and continue to take good care of it you will never regret owning one. People ask me all of the time if it’s brand new because it does look as if it is. I was very hesitant to buy a Cadillac because I felt it would be expensive to maintain, I was so wrong, however, it will run and always perform and look great if you desire to keep it that way. I also learned a trick online as to how to clean my windows crystal clear as I like them and that’s to use a Magic Eraser by first wiping with a clean microfiber cloth , then use the Magic Eraser , then finish with favorite window cleaner, I personally prefer to use distilled water to finish the job. I also use a soft toothbrush to detail all of the dirt that gets in the spaces I can’t reach by washing. I also use WD-40 to a cloth and wipe down my windshield wipers, another tip I read online. I enjoy all of the results that I use to keep my car sparkling. I’m also retired so I have the time to do so. If you try these tips you will never regret the time you put into it. Sincerely, Donna
