Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My car ran out of gas so I pushed it to the gas
station put gas in it it started up for like 15 to 30
seconds then it died out try to start it again
wouldn't start I change the fuel pump with a brand
new fuel pump from AutoZone and now when I
turn my key I'm not hearing the fuel pump kick
what do I have to do? To fix this problem?

Go back over your work and find the bad connection to the new fuel pump. It is usually a ground problem. Use a test light to see if there is power back at the fuel pump.
