Without knowing anything else , you need 3 things to happen for the vehicle to start - fuel , air , and spark. The car is not pulling codes because there was nothing picked up wrong by the cars computer. You need to check some obvious things like - does the car have gas? If yes, then you can have a clogged fuel filter so engine not getting gas. Next you'll have to check for spark. Has the car gotten a tune up? New Spark plugs , new wires etc.. You'll need another person to help you check for spark. How is the cars air filter? Is it all clogged up? Car needs to suck in clean air for it to run. Check these basic things out first

It could be the head gasket, or a sensor. Check the oil stick. If the oil looks milky then either a bad crack in one of the heads or the head gasket. They are tips on the internet on how to check your car for a bad head gasket or cracked head. If those two things check out then its probly a sensor.

Also it could have something to do with the timing. Timing belt, etc.

2.7 Chrysler sebring 2001 for starters this type of car should be recalled and fixed for free, all the problems that they have!!! I have had to rebuild the motor due to the faulty timing chain design. the timing chain pulls to hard on the water pump, and wears out the bearing and then the seal and then water seeps in to the motor and so on !!! ruins the motor bad design!!! sensors go bad regularly mainly cam sensor and crank sensor !! if the motor gets over heated there is the oil sensor that will get really hot and start leaking, and that will pump all of your engine oil out of the motor and we all know what that will cause !! the engine will lock up nice Chrysler thanks for that one!!! lets see if your motor wont start which is common for this car.. usually it is a relay or fuse and if that doesn't work take the negative wires off the negative post and wait for about a minute or two and it will start and run fine!!! It will reset the computer, there are so many problems with this car, my advice, I know this isn't what you want to here but sale it while its running because the nickel and dime days are gone now its twentys and hundreds and thousands

I have a 2000 Cirrus 2.5 no start, replaced distributor, wires, plugs, fuel pump, fuel filter it now has excellent fuel pressure and plenty of spark but still no start my next step is to replace the crank sensor the timing is just fine! I'm wondering if the injectors are opening? That's why I'm replacing the sensor.

my 98 sebring LXi (2 dr coupe w/ 2.5 V6. Mine won't run after it warms up. cranks, no start. It started gradually as a hesitation like I was turning the key off and then on rapidly. 3 nights ago it quit and would NOT restart. I replaced my timing belt about 30.000 miles ago and it doesn't have the "broken timing belt sound". had it towed home and it started the next morning. I just let it idle in ft of my house and it stalled. It restarted but I'm afraid to drive it!?!? Also the fuel pump & filter about a month old, replaced for a totally different problem. Now I spent 25 of my 35 years experience at a Dodge dealer. A lot of their V6 vehicles used a crank sensor in the same location. If the crank sensor gets too far away from the flywheel it won't give a steady signal. As the drivetrain heats up the expansion of the bell housing (where the sensor is) will move the sensor even further away. That is what I am going to try in mine and hopefully it might fix yours. For me, replacing the crank sensor is a guess!! An educated guess is still a guess! If anyone has any suggestions I will be glad to hear from you. Thank you.

I have a 2003 Sebring LX Coupe. Started doing the no crank/no start thing about 2 years ago. Until recently (last month or 2) it would eventually start after turning the key multiple times (sometimes 5 - sometimes 50 times). One morning it was totally dead so I replaced the battery. New battery didn't seem to hold a charge so I took it back to be tested - all tested fine. Mechanic said "a wire was heating up" and they replaced the starter cable. Started perfect for 1 week and now back to the same problem. Only now the battery dies before I can crank it enough times to start. But once it does start - it runs great and doesn't stall. I have a lot invested in this car (repairs wise) and feel like it is just something stupid causing this that no one has figured out yet. HELP PLEASE!
