Have A 2012 GMC Arcadia- does the Camera record?- accident purposes

Backing -up in A lot --Space was right next to A drive-way / as I backed up  seeing all clear view- as I backed out apparently Acar drove-into drive coming in --  He either bumped me / or I bumped him- no apparent damage-Yet he finds A issue with his Grill /  older Honda coup/ real low --  a crack- so tiny - and looked to be not from my car- as my bumper had no marks - so he is saying the pressing of my bumper caused crack " I'm not buying it -- does camera record ?
