How do I adjust the beeping sound when the car door is opened or locked?

Just replaced the battery on my 2012 ford escape and now whenever I open the door the car beeps or whenever I lock the door with my key fob it beeps.  It didn't do this before we replaced the battery and it is annoying to me and others.

It went back to factory default setting when you disconnected battery. I will try to find out how to put it the way you had it.

Well it's not in the owners manual, http://www.fordservicecontent.com/Ford_Content/catalog/owner_guides/12204og1e.pdf /only chime that can be disabled is the rear hatch/ http://owner.ford.com/servlet/ContentServer?pagename=Owner/Page/OwnerVideoPage&year=2013&make=Ford&model=Escape.. but there they say if you have any questions go to Fordowner.com and they will answer any questions. Hope I was at least some help.
