CVT problem transmissions

They have been replacing a lot of them. https://owners.nissanusa.com/nowners/navigation/warrantyContent
We bought a used Altima (2009) from an individual who fully disclosed that Nissan had put a new transmission in the car around 120K miles. The car had around 150K miles when we bought it about five months ago, put about 8000 miles on it, and the transmission just went out. No warnings, no signs, no lights. The CVTs are trash. Sad thing is that it’s a great car; still looks nice after 10 years and drove perfectly before the tranny failed.
