I turn on the a.c. and it's hot air in a altima nissan

When i turn the ac conditioner it's real hot and it just stays hot what would be the problem

AC just flat quit working while it was running one day is it possible it could just be the clutch or is it the whole compressor or is there a switch high pressure low pressure that could be up to the problem and is there any other Nissan vehicles besides a 2008 Nissan Altima I have that carry the same AC compressor
